Zevenhuizen, an authentic village in the middle of South Holland. Zevenhuizen has about 7500 inhabitants. This number is growing, as more is being built than ever before. The cozy village has a number of historic buildings that have now also been bombed into monuments. Zevenhuizen was born in the Koornmolengat. There used to be 7 farms here, to which Zevenhuizen also owes its name. Nice detail: Recreatiepark de Koornmolen is located at the approximate location where the 7 farms must have stood. The village has been moved and there is a lot to experience in the village itself. Zevenhuizen has a supermarket and many dining options (see activities). The Dorpsstraat is cozy and pleasant. On the first Saturday of September, the entire region goes out for the harvest festival, a must! This event has 30,000 visitors almost every year. At the harvest festival there is music, a catering square, you can view old crafts and there are fun activities for the children. Zevenhuizen is about 2 kilometers away from the Koornmolen.
